A skirt that won’t buckle under pressure.
When you’re running big drops or charging through heavy whitewater, the last thing you want is your spray skirt blowing off. That’s why serious paddlers trust the Palm Orbit. Built for maximum hold on the stoutest runs, this skirt clings on tight. Its burly 11 mm rubber rand grips your cockpit like a vice, while the highly elastic deck fabric flexes under pressure without lifting the seal. Combined with a 3D profile that hugs the rim and reinforced KNytex and Supratex panels for durability, the Orbit is made to withstand the force of serious whitewater. Whether you’re styling the line, or taking a beating in a hole, this is the skirt that helps you stay in your boat — because sometimes, swimming isn’t an option.
- 11 mm rubber rand grips your cockpit tightly, resisting blowouts in extreme conditions
- Highly elastic neoprene deck stretches under pressure, maintaining seal without popping off
- 3D pre-shaped design hugs cockpit rims securely for maximum hold
- Reinforced KNytex front and Supratex rear panels add abrasion resistance and durability
- Gripsil-coated underside increases friction and prevents slippage on wet cockpit rims
- Triple-glued seams and taped construction for long-lasting waterproof performance
- 38 mm webbing release loop provides a secure and easy-to-grab exit point
- O-ring waist seal reduces water ingress and keeps the skirt snug around your torso
- Attachment clip lets you hang your skirt out to dry between uses

- To get the best fit, compare your kayak and body measurements to the size charts below.
- Circumference – Measure the circumference of your kayak by running a tape measure or piece of string around the cockpit of your kayak under the lip of the cockpit.
- Length – Measure the length of your cockpit from the longest point of the outside of the cockpit rim from bow to stern.
- Width – Measure the width of your cockpit from the widest point of the outside of the cockpit rim.
- Waist – Measure the waist circumference at the smallest part of your waist. Neoprene waist tubes are stretchy, so you might want to choose a smaller size to help keep water out if you are paddling without a jacket, or a slightly larger size if you are wearing lots of thick warm layers.
