For the driest ride possible.

When you’re working on your freestyle or rolling a bunch, the last thing you want is a boat full of water after every other move. That’s why the Palm Impact Spray Skirt is built to keep things dry. Designed specifically for freestyle paddlers, it features a dry-lip around the front and sides of the cockpit rim to deflect water that would otherwise sneak in. Combined with a snug-fitting shock cord, Gripsil underside, and reinforced edges, the Impact holds firm and seals tight. It’s a performance skirt made to keep your boat light and responsive — so you can spend more time paddling, and less time emptying.

  • 3/4 length dry-lip around the rim deflects water during repeated rolls and freestyle tricks
  • 9.5 mm elastic shock cord creates a snug fit for reliable sealing on most cockpit rims
  • 38 mm webbing release loop is easy to grab in a hurry
  • Nytex front and Supratex rear rim reinforcements protect against abrasion and wear
  • O-ring waist seal reduces water entry while maintaining comfort and flexibility
  • Sticky Gripsil coating on underside helps lock the skirt in place and prevent slippage
  • Glued, blindstitched, and taped seams for excellent waterproof performance and longevity
  • Attachment clip makes drying and storage easy between sessions
  • Weight: 793g (R4 - XS/S), 784g (R4 - M/L), 818g (R4 - XL/XXL), 852g (R5 - XS/S), 856g (R5 - M/L), 889g (R5 - XL/XXL)
  • Materials: 4 mm CR neoprene
  • To get the best fit, compare your kayak and body measurements to the size charts below.
  • Circumference – Measure the circumference of your kayak by running a tape measure or piece of string around the cockpit of your kayak under the lip of the cockpit.
  • Length – Measure the length of your cockpit from the longest point of the outside of the cockpit rim from bow to stern.
  • Width – Measure the width of your cockpit from the widest point of the outside of the cockpit rim.
  • Waist – Measure the waist circumference at the smallest part of your waist. Neoprene waist tubes are stretchy, so you might want to choose a smaller size to help keep water out if you are paddling without a jacket, or a slightly larger size if you are wearing lots of thick warm layers.
