Cancellation & Refund Policy for Rolling Sessions

Rescheduling Your Session

It may be possible for you to reschedule your rolling session, based solely on the amount of notice you provide:

    Notice Period Eligibility

    Within 24 hours of booking.

    Reschedule free of charge.

    More than 7 days notice prior to session.

    Reschedule free of charge.

    Less than 7 days notice prior to session (or during).

    You cannot reschedule.

    Cancelling Your Session

    It may be possible for you to cancel your rolling session, based solely on the amount of notice you provide:

      Notice Period Eligibility

      Within 24 hours of booking.

      Full refund minus 3% payment processing fee.

      Mare than 14 days notice prior to session. 75% refund or credit.

      More than 7 days notice prior to session.

      50% refund or credit.

      Less than 7 days notice prior to session (or during).

      No refunds or credits will be issued.

      Other Possible Scenarios

      Though unlikely, if we have to cancel your session(s) due to an unforeseeable event such as a staffing/logistical issue, natural disaster, pandemic, or NZ COVID-19 alert level restrictions, you will be rescheduled to a new date free of charge. If we are unable to reschedule your booking, a credit will be held in your name for later redemption.

      If you are travelling from overseas, we do not accept any responsibility for your inability to attend due to boarder/travel restrictions arising as a result from the COVID-19 pandemic.

      No refunds or reschedules will provided in the event of injury, illness, equipment failure, lack of fitness, or ability.

      Canterbury Kayaking may decline booking requests to any individual at the sole discretion of the manager.
